Wishard Works Together, a giving program exclusively for Wishard Employees, seeks to recognize those donors who also give their time, energy and knowledge in service to Wishard every day.

Employees may designate their donation among five areas:

• Wishard Initiatives
• Wishard  Hospital
• Wishard Foundation
• Midtown Mental Health Services
• Lockefield Village

The Wishard Initiatives are a series of specific projects, identified by hospital leadership, that enhance the care and services provided to our patients. When employees choose to fund these projects with their donations, they will see the direct impact of their donation.

For 2007, Wishard has identified the new Pediatric Unit as the Wishard Initiative. The unit, to be constructed in the Myers Building (5 South), will open in early 2008.  All employee donations received through December 31, 2007, that are designated for the Wishard Initiatives will go to the renovations of this unit for Pediatrics.

To further thank our employees for giving back, Wishard employees will be recognized on a cumulative basis in the Wishard Foundation’s giving societies- the Benefactor Society, Caregiver Society, Advocate Circle, and Friends of Wishard.  Please click here to learn more about the Foundation’s giving societies.
