BRANDI BRUNS: MANAGER OF CORPORATE GIVING
As Manager of Corporate Giving, Brandi Bruns leads the corporate philanthropy efforts of the Foundation. Brandi previously served as the Manager of Telethon Fundraising and Development at Wishard. In former roles, Brandi worked for Senator Evan Bayh, spending two years in the Senator’s official Indianapolis office, and two years on the Bayh for Senate 2004 campaign as the Indiana Finance Director. A graduate of Indiana University – Bloomington in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in public affairs and a minor in political science, Brandi serves on the board of the Central Indiana Chapter of the IU Alumni Association. She has also volunteered her time with the Center of Hope, a Wishard program that treats victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault. Brandi currently resides in Broad Ripple with animals Oliver, Scout and Twinkie.

ALISA ERVIN: MANAGER, DEVELOPMENT INFORMATION & ACCOUNTING SERVICES
Alisa manages the development database, office accounting processes, and department relationships for the Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation, Alisa served as District Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Development Coordinator for the Robert Toigo Foundation and the Humane Society of Silicon Valley. A graduate of the University of California at Riverside, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She shares her home with dogs Chloe and Kismet.

MAREN LAWSON: EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Maren joined the Foundation in September of 2007. In the previous two years, she worked at Wishard for IU Medical Group – Primary Care. She received her BS in Business Management and Human Resource Management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Maren and her husband Jeremiah have sons named Luke and Trevor (born April 2008).

STACIE HARTING MARSH, MANAGER OF FOUNDATION GRANTS
As Manager of Foundation Grants since March 2008, Stacie is responsible for identifying grant funders, preparing grant proposals and cases for support, and serving as a liaison with active funders.  Stacie worked as a Grant Writer for the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County for two years before founding and becoming president of Writing to Win, Inc., a fundraising consulting company, in early 2006.  Stacie holds a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) degree from Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) in Bloomington, Indiana, where she specialized in Nonprofit Management.  Stacie has been a member of the development teams of several nonprofit agencies in the greater Indianapolis and Washington, DC areas, including social service organizations, think tanks, advocacy organizations, institutes of higher education, and municipal corporations.   

BECKY RUBY: MANAGER, ANNUAL GIVING & SPECIAL PROJECTS
As Manager of Annual Giving & Special Projects, Becky works with the individual donors and Wishard employees who support the work of the Foundation through annual gifts and gifts to special one-time projects like Our Kids, Our Community. Prior to joining the staff in April 2007, Becky was previously employed by the Indianapolis Zoo’s advancement office. She received a Bachelor of Science in Arts Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Public Relations from Butler University and has completed her Certificate of Fund Raising Management through the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. Becky serves on the board of the Herron-Morton Place Association and as a member of the Indiana AIDS Fund Spotlight Steering Committee. She resides downtown with her dog Finn.

JIM WOOD: PRESIDENT & CEO
Jim Wood oversees the strategic direction of the Foundation. Jim is a Certified Fund Raising Professional who
received his BS in Communications from Northwestern University and his MA in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University. During his 22 years as a fundraiser he has worked in the advancement offices at the Indianapolis Zoo, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School and Tri-State University. Jim is currently the president of the Indiana Chapter of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and is a past chair of the Julian Center Board of Directors and the Planned Giving Group of Indiana. He now serves as a member of the development committee of Second Helpings and a member of the Advisory Board of the Nonprofit Solutions Center at IUPUI. Jim and his wife Karen have two children.
